On October 8, I caught up with Peggy in London, England. Peggy arrived in London two days before me so she could attend the wedding of a friend while I was attending a conference in Anaheim, CA. After flying all night and hiking several blocks to find my hotel in this unfamiliar city, I was happy to find my wife sleeping in her cozy bed. I managed to get her up and we left our hotel to tour London. Afterward, we went to Oxford, Bath, and Salisbury before leaving for Italy. Here are some pictures from that trip.

Salisbury Cathedral. I like this picture because there are no modern structures in it and it allows me to imagine the tremendous role this church played in Salisbury when it was originally built. |

One of the highlights of our trip was saved for the last day, Stonehenge. |
