On September 4, 1999, when Chris left for Orlando, Fl, Peggy got on another plane and went to New Zealand. There she covered the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit. After working some long, grueling hours, she then took some leave and enjoyed the sights of this faraway island. Below are some pictures chronicling her experiences.

Granted, New Zealand is famous for its butter, but a butter statue? The Skytower and downtown Auckland, as seen from the Auckland Museum.
A sign reassuring that the glass floor will prevent one from going any lower. Peggy's co-worker Nadine Leavitt preparing to enjoy a good meal at the Northern Garden Seafood Restaurant in Auckland.
