Christopher ("Chris") Friedline, Peggy ("Pegasus") Hu, and Alexander James ("A.J.") Tian-Zuo Friedline at Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada in June 2007.

This is a picture of Chris and A.J. on the first day of a family trip to the Canadian Rockies. When he is not on vacation, Chris works as a Budget Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. In this position, Chris runs a program that provides budget formulation services to other federal agencies such as the Deaprtments of State, Justice, and Transportation. Chris earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Old Dominion University in 1992 and a Master's degree in Public Policy from George Mason University in 2006. Chris's other interests include brewing beer, boating, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and, most of all, playing with his son.

Peggy (a.k.a. "Pegasus") is an editor with the Department of State's Bureau of International Information Programs and the Webmaster for the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA). When Peggy/Pegasus is not working, she is usually taking care of her son A.J. On occasion she does have time to pursue her hobbies, which include reading (especially mysteries, science fiction, and fantasy), writing, playing the piano, singing, dancing, taking photos, collecting rocks, role-playing, ice-skating, bowling and maintaining her own home page. Peggy/Pegasus graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in comparative literature and international relations.

Alexander James Tian-Zuo Friedline (a.k.a. "A.J.") is an aspiring heart surgeon, astronaut, and major league baseball player. Due to minimum age and height requirements, though, little A.J. is biding his time before he begins formal training. Originally, he spent his time crying, sleeping, and eating, but he has since expanded into drawing, bike riding, playing video games, learning to swim and studying taekwondo and Chinese.
