During the first week of June 2005, Chris and Peggy celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary by going to Paris, France. Aside from a few weekend getaways, this was their first trip "sans" child since A.J. was born in 2002. Although they thought about their son a lot during their trip, they had no reason to worry. During the first half of the trip, A.J. was in the good hands of Chris's mom and stepfather, Dee and Mike Carter. During the second half of the trip, Peggy's parents, A-Li and Henry Hu, took care of A.J. Chris and Peggy thank all of them very much for making their 10th anniversary special.
While in Paris, Chris and Peggy stayed at the Hotel Muguet, which turned out to be everything that was advertised. From their hotel, they visited the Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel), the Victory Arch (Arc de Triomphe), Notre Dame, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Basilique du Sacré-Coeur), and many, many other places. They also made a day trip out of town to visit Versailles, the home of Louis XIV and others from the French monarchy. Below are the pictures from their visit. Chris and Peggy had a great time taking them and look forward to visiting Paris again some day soon.
Note: The background for this page is from a picture Chris took of the city from the top of the Victory Arch.
