In the winter of 1997, Peggy and Chris went on their first ever ski trip when they spent the weekend with Chris's sister and brother-in-law at the Wintergreen Resort. Chris fell so many times that he almost gave himself a concussion and Peggy got a bruise that took until about September to heal. Unfortunately, the jarring of Chris's brain caused him to spill out his common sense all over the mountain and convince his wife to go again. Well, he didn't so much as convince her as much as pleaded her into submission but it had the same effect. Chris and Peggy went again in January 1998 and, you know what, they actually had a pretty good time. Since they didn't want to bust up the new and expensive digital camera on the mountain, they didn't actually take it skiing with them. But they were still able to get some nice pictures and below you will find a couple of them.

By the way, in case you are wondering, every single graphic in this section of the homepage is homemade. Not bad for a 486 with Paintbrush and a couple other graphics programs, huh...
